Expertise & experience – fast & flexible

Monika KordtI have specialised in law and business right from my degree in translation studies at Cologne University of Applied Sciences. After graduating, I went on to complete a Master's degree at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, where I further developed my translation skills for German and English, and also qualified as a conference interpreter.

Having worked for several translation agencies in Germany and abroad, I was employed as a translator at one of the leading international corporate law firms in Frankfurt am Main from 2002 to 2009. Working with respected legal and business experts on a daily basis allowed me to substantially develop my professional expertise and gain valuable experience – an advantage that my clients benefit from today. And, as delivering quality translations under immense time constraints day-in day-out is part and parcel of working for a corporate law firm, I was able to demonstrate my speed, flexibility and ability to work under pressure. This is your guarantee that I will always deliver top quality, even when working to the tightest of deadlines.

Since 2009 I have been working as a freelance translator and interpreter for companies and institutions from industry, politics and the administrative sector, as well as for private individuals. Not only do I offer my clients top quality, I also provide a flexible, customised service and process orders directly without any intermediaries.
